Norm doesn’t have a lot of the traditional accountant traits, except he’s pretty likeable and pretty lonely. He is the only accountant I can think of who is a major character in a long-running TV show. Some people think Ozzie Nelson or Ward Cleaver were accountants, but I contend nobody really ever knew what they did.
